Empower GameTime Recruiting

Empower GameTime Recruiting places a strong emphasis on professionalism and integrity in its scouting staff. It is important for student athletes and their families to be able to trust and rely on the guidance and advice of those who are helping them navigate the college recruiting process. It is also important for recruiting organizations to maintain high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in order to best serve the needs and interests of student athletes. It is ultimately the goal of any reputable scouting organization to help student athletes achieve their dreams of participating in college athletics and to do so in a way that is honest, transparent, and fair.

Jackie Arnold

Personal Recruiting Coach

Jackie Arnold began her sports career in softball and basketball in Youngstown, Ohio. She went on to be a collegiate basketball and softball player at the NCAA level and was inducted into the Ohio HS Hall of Fame for Basketball. She fell in love with volleyball while training with her college’s volleyball team. After graduation, she started coaching both volleyball and softball in Virginia, where she was a teacher taking the Volleyball teams to regional championships & State final 8. Moving to Oregon with her husband and sons she soon became a top HS volleyball and softball coach and won multiple Coach of the Year awards and took her teams to State Elite 8 finishes. Jackie then coached NCAA softball and volleyball as the assistant recruiting coach.

She has worked as a Director of Recruiting expert with athletes all over the country placing volleyball, softball, football, swimming & other sports athletes at the D1/D2/D3 and NAIA Levels for the past 7+ years. Jackie currently resides in Alabama with her husband and dog. Both her sons were competitive swimmers at the D1/D2 level and one went to Olympic Trials twice. Jackie coached at Orange Beach HS in 2021 and earned Coach of the Year and took the team to State Runner-up after winning Regionals. Jackie is planning to move from Alabama to Georgia in the coming year.

Rodney Cox

Personal Recruiting Coach

CEO/Founder of GTR&C, Rodney Cox, is from Los Angeles, California. At the age of 5, Rodney began playing football and fell in love with the sport. Rodney graduated from Cathedral High School and earned a scholarship to play football for Arizona State University. Initially a walk-on recruit for ASU, Rodney’s hard work and perseverance earned him a full scholarship and starting position for the Sun Devils. While at ASU, Rodney earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Professionally, Rodney played arena football for the Green Bay Blizzards. Since the conclusion of his collegiate and professional career, Rodney has been actively involved in high school athletics through coaching, volunteering opportunities, and student-athlete mentorships.

Rodney’s passion to assist student-athletes to play at the Next Level began when he was introduced to the world of “Sports Recruiting” in 2016. Within 2 years, Rodney contributed to 40+ collegiate student-athlete success stories, at various levels: Divisions I-III, NAIA, and Junior/Community College. Rodney is an active recruiter and scout for student-athletes throughout the United States as well as international student-athletes from Canada and New Zealand.

Alicia Cox

Co-Owner
M.Ed., AT, ATC

Co-owner of GTR&C, Alicia, is a nationally board-certified and licensed Athletic Trainer (AT). Growing up as a military child, (Air Force), Alicia graduated from Desert High School on Edwards Air Force Base in Southern California. A 3-sport athlete in high school, (volleyball, basketball, track & field), Alicia went on to play collegiate volleyball at the University of Tampa until a career-ending ACL injury. With a passion for Sports Medicine and Exercise Science, Alicia earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tampa in Athletic Training.

Alicia’s experiences as an AT have included, (but are not limited to), working for an NHL team physician, NFL Europe, a Division II World Series Championship Baseball team, USA Baseball, Gatorade, and various championship high school teams and student-athletes. As a high school AT, Alicia earned a Master of Education from Concordia University, Portland, and became a Career and Technical Education (CTE) instructor, teaching Sports Medicine. Furthermore, Alicia continues to pursue her education, nearing the completion of a Doctoral degree in Sport and Performance Psychology from Ashford University.

Kevin Arnold

Technical Director

Kevin Arnold earned his degree in Business and has been in the Wireless and Communication industry for over 30+ years. He is a leader at a Fortune 50 company and Co-Owner of Empower Collegiate Recruiting and Consulting LLC. He is the technical brains behind what Empower-Gametime does creating all the links to all partnerships and tournaments. He also is the one who attends tournaments and keeps the metrics logged and available to all the athletes and families. When he isn’t working tourneys and showcases he enjoys working on the yard and pool along with spending time with Jackie & his dog, Dobby.
